I should have shared a long time ago. Nothing special at all but ever since the Youtube thing more and more are sharing small clips of their fish so thought I'd do the same.

The alpha male was protecting his cave behind the right side of the rocks and the tiger barbs, well they were just happy to be alive and were more than happy to move out of the way of an mbuna at any given time.

Now I'm even more convinced that I want Tiger Barbs, they look good.

Yea wish I would have taken a lot more videos of that setup since a lot went on with all those fish and that setup is long since been gone.

The tiger barbs usually schooled from one side to the other and even when a cichlid came darting through they would only seperate so that it looked like the cichlid was "cutting through" them. It was really cool to watch. I had 12 of them and when you have that many they usually stay in their own tiger barb world and from time to time have little tussles as to who is going to be on top from one week to the next. Very fun fish to watch.

They are also beautiful fish but mbunas were the only non-scavenger fish I was ever able to keep them with.
