My lotus keeps getting dug up by my gold nugget. It seems to be hovering just above the substrate. Should I leave it where it is or bury the roots back in the substrate, and if I do bury it, should I trim back some of the roots first? In the past, to solve the problem, I would usually wedge the bulb within the opening of a rock structure that has a gap in it.
