That was so kool the goldfish didnt get a chance to take a breath in the tank before he was gone

Yuck.. goldfish aren't healthy for fish to eat, and I don't see why people think it's cool to feed live things to other things :/ :/

wow he is a monster!! He must have a good bite to chop a glodfish in half

poor goldy, atleast its quick  , oh well thats what happens in real life so i cant complian

cool vid

Could I ask you to edit the topic to include something like 'Warning: live feeder used' ? Many people like feeding videos and will watch them, not expecting a goldfish to be eaten. I'm sure we all would rather save them the shock

As for the video, I can't compliment you seeing as I'm not watching it. From the picture posted though, it is a stunning fish you've got!

Gah! At least he was fast about it...from the five seconds I watched anyway. I agree that a warning would be nice!

snakeheads are illegal here because some moron let a few go and they ended up breeding and are affecting the local fish population, now they are on a catch and kill basis

i agree with the goldfish feeding, all it takes is 1 sick one and you lose more then you bargain for

I haven't yet seen the video but the snakehead looks lovely - I love these fish.

I agree that feeding live feeders is not a good idea - because of the snakehead's health.

As far as morality, this is not what happens in the wild - goldfish don't co-exist with snakeheads and, if they did, the fish would have more of a chance to escape. Regardless, as long as the goldfish is not stressed out and chased for long periods or eaten slowly, I have nothing against feeding live fish to predators. To me it sounds like it was snapped up almost straight away (and I'll see in a minute for myself). Probably just as humane as our 'destroying the brain' euthanasia method.

BUT, do consider the health issue. It can be very serious - especialy with goldfish.
