And would like to find a mate.

What should i be looking for?

breeding is really rare in the home aquarium, as space is at a premium and rainbow sharks and red tailed sharks hate others of the same species or similar shape. Keeping two in a tank is a major gamble, they tend to fight.

Males are said to have a slimmer more streamlined profile and a black or dark edge on the anal fin.

So I would say you have a female. What do you feed her and what size tank have you got her in.

She likes algae wafers funny enough but she dines on the daphnia and most frozen food.
She used to be quite a bully but has calmed down a bit now . she is in with bigger fish than her which would or might explain her change of ways.

it's a 100 gallon tank

These and RTB sharks are said to be almost extinct in the wild now due to the aggression that they show towards their own kind.

Are we talking about the Red finned or Red tailed?

I never knew they were so rare?
