Reallynot bush's fault. : ).

lol, spoken like a true Englishman. lol. its odd to find that the view of an ex president, is shared across the pond.not bush's fault. : ).
Bush can't be held responsible for not getting the right change off the ice cream man he really is thick as pig doodah. In fact, he has only ever failed at everything from school to air force pilot(?) to president. It is the people behind the 'charming' puppet you gotta look at I am afraid.
I feel its sad. but, like any other business, it runs in cycles. we (the west) have had a period of, unsustainable, growth and prosperity (well the very wealthy have). now times are harder, there is bound to be a clear out. unfortunately this means some of us will loose our local shops. but, as i read this forum, its not hard to see the pressures that these businesses take. people too lazy to travel to shops. preferring to sit on their backsides, and wait for the postman. yet these people seem surprised when their local LFS goes bust!
like shelagh, i am a proponent of using REAL shop. now, perhaps more than ever, they need our support. if we dont, all we will have left are, faceless internet sites, with the attendant dangers of fraud and duplicity. and we will only have ourselves to blame.
