..............evening all. i have a 65l tank in my living room and woukld like to use under gravel filtration. can someone please suggest a properly 'silent' pump with variable flow please? secondhand also considered if the price is right.

Someone recommended Tetratec to me.

All I do definitely know is do not get an Elite one! I bought one in a set at the weekend and it's going back because the word "quiet" on the box is serious false advertising!

best place is ebay for silent air pumps look for ones from a seller called tinah41 there super quiet and variable flow

If you don't mind me asking why use an undergravel filter? They're not as efficient and louder than a small internal or external.
