as u know my bettas breeded not to long ago and the fish hatched july 11/tues. at 10 or 11 pm...well my dad planned a last minute trip to go to boston for me and him...we leave tommorrow at 10 and get back sunday at 12... i am putting my sister in charge to feed the fry 3 times a day some egglayer first bites food. are the fry ready to have their daddy taken out now, tonight or tom morning? i would not have spawned them had i known this butit was last minute!

I've never bred before but I think you can take the dad out whenever, It depends if they're free swimming or not, also how old is your sister and do you think she can handle/remember feeding them?

if they're most horizontal you can probably take him out. you shouldn't find that you really have any casualties.

ok.... well loko she is about 11 and i think my mom is gonna do it instead...my mom took care of my fish once and she did very good so i guess i can trust her instead...thanks for replying so fast!
