My GH is high i know the test strips ain't the most accurate things going but my GH is showing 180ppm on the gauge PH is around7 nitrate,40 kh 40 and nitrite are showing 0

is this GH too high or is it safe?

what's a good way too lower it im gonna remove one of the rocks i believe may be adding too the high GH

just done a water change with tap water put tapsafe in stresscoat aswell, as i cleaned the gravel earlier on today.

im assuming certain types of rocks can bump the GH up

If you mean GH as in general hardness, then i would suggest 2 things..
1/ Using a liquid test kit.
2/ Testing your tap water against your tank water. Then take the appropriate step.

just dipped the tap water and the strip went purple straight away showing 180ppm straight away?

could i used bottled water if its not too hard with a ph of 7.0+ ? its still water not distilled or fizzy water

well bottled water is out of the question lol i just dipped a bottle and the KH and GH are sky high n the ph was around 8.0+

is there anything i can get too bring the hardness down in anyway?

Not sure why you'd want to in all honesty... I live in a very soft water area and have to work to get my tank water more like yours.

Your Ammonia, NitrIte and NitrAte readings are more important, but your question may need a different answer depending on what you have done recently or what you plan to do in the future. How long have you had this tank and fish?

only thing ive done recently is remove all item's from tank and hooverd the gravel and removed some gravel from the tank, ive had the tank about 3weeks+ now

fish seem too be doing ok eating fine look fine and swimming round fine.
