I like Bettas, black ghost knife fish and guppies. I wouldn't actually mix these. Can you mix bettas with any other fish in a larger tank with lots of space.
What would you guys recommend?
(I have a lot of spare time and I can keep a stable aquarium)
If were starting with a blank canvas, so-to-speak, and was stocking around a Betta as a centre piece I'd be looking at my current faves (stating the obvious I know ) and having a good group of Cardinal Tetra and/or (depending on whether you prefer larger groups of less types or visa versa) Rummynose Tetra and some 'Lambchop' Rasbora (T. espei). I'd also have Kuhli Loach and Otto's. This assumes a well planted tank with sand. A black background really makes the Rasbora's colour 'pop'.
Oh I love all of those. Would angel fish be okay in this size tank with these fish? Maybe black phantom tetras for the bigger size instead of small ones?
Well I'll keep the rocks since they are arranged low and centered. I have love plants at the back.
Anyway, angels? And if not what would they be good for?
