Re Stocking My Planted 60 Gal

So i have my 60 gal tank that is planted with some java moss & fern and with some swords and im looking at making it into a predator tank i love the idea of pirahna but i hear they get boring so my thoughts are maybe jack dempsy's or green terrors tell me your thoughts

Ah, arrowanas get way too big for a 60, likewise for the black ghost. And mixing puffers with other fish isn't really recommended.

Gourami is 100% wrong there all those fish are inappropriate for your tank.

If your doing a planted tank, most cichlids will dig around and often uproot the plants. There are a few cichlids that will work though like angels and festuivums. Or you could go down the dwarf route with various apistos or cupid cichlids etc.

Personally i have kept marine, tropicals and coldwater and i used to have piranahs not that long ago. and yes they are a little boring but i have had more boring.. i had 4 and most of the time they used to stay in one spot. but in a larger group they are more active but not sure how many you could have in a 60g but i dont think you could have more then 4. but dont rule them out as they are very cool fish.
