After giving up totally on planted tanks, I just couldnt keep them alive no matter how I dosed ferts and faffed about, I decided to give in and rescape.

Too much wood do you think now? :lol:

Sulky Sev is out again after hiding for several hours since the change over - he gets so fed up with Mum changing his home around :rolleyes:

Shall I add fake plants or leave as is??
 
Looks great Fella. Will look even better once the wood starts to grow little patches of algae. The natural look.

I can never find any wood like that all i can find are big chunkey logs!

Some of the redmoor already have black algae over it, its been in the tank for a few months, suprised the bristle nose doesnt eat it!

Thanks all, I might add some greenery at some point. The fish dont seem to care either way :rolleyes:
 
Ah ok, gotcha, never seen the film, so didnt know what you meant :blush:
 
Looks great! You wouldn't do badly if you added some rocks and thinner pieces of wood to balance it out, right now all of the pieces are around the same thickness. :good:
