Not bad for a first effort. The tank has depth and perspective. You just need some more plants. How about some moss on the wood?

Have a look in your LFS to see what potted plants they have. Try some Crypts or Anubais which ware good for new starters. You could do with something small at the front too.

^^Agree.  Crypts are great plants, really easy but they give a completely different shape than the rest of the "easy care" plants. I would try a few more plants like Lunar suggested, and maybe place one infront of the driftwood, that might make you feel better about the perfectness of it.  Looks good though, love the black background.

Nice tank +1 on the crypts. Plus also if it was me I would ditch the wood a source a nice bit if redmoor root to replace it. Nice first effort tho

Thanks for the opinions guys. But I want to know if cherry shrimp can live In my tank with the plants I have now ? And I do plan to get java moss.
