Hello there,

I have a lovely red betta boy, and I would like to find him a girl. He builds nests and likes to strut his stuff, but I don't have the room/money to buy a female and another tank for him. Does anyone know of some system of finding a female for him, betta online dating if you will.

Any ideas would be great

I really don't now anything like that but maybe you could see if there are any betta breeders around where you live.

If you don't have another tank for a female,and you need at least 6, you wont have one for breeding and for the fry. Your betta can produce over 100 youngsters and they need looking after in the correct way. I think you should put all thoughts of breeding out of your head until you have all the equipment necessary. And even then what are you going to do with all the babies?
