Random Snail In My Tank

Yesterday i noticed a tiny tiny snail in my tank, does anyone know how it might have got there? I havn't added new plants for 2 months. And would a snail be the kind of thing i want to get rid of?

plants, and leave it theyre all good

unless you get some that eat plants

snails are a good thing really, they will multiple only if you over feed and will clean up some of the algea. Some fish may eat the snails too. It is highly likely that the snails came from plants and you havent noticed them until now.
