Hey another update on my rams, both of them seem to be guarding the enterence to the underneath of my artificial root all the time- thinks prehaps they might of bred, the only fish under there is my L-14 Pleco 'Simon'
I need information on ram fry
Do they lay eggs or have live birth-
Have they bred yet or are they planning to?
How to i stop the other fish getting the babies?

Cool:) They may have. But plecos eat eggs-I'd nix him if he can get in the nest.
Rams lay eggs-the fry are super small, but despite what a lot of places post, mine at least can manage brine shrimp at birth. Your survival rate will be higher if you can feed stuff like walter worms though.....
If they're guarding, and not cleaning they probably have bred.
If they stop-it means either they or their tankmates ate the egs. Give them their own tank if you want babies as they're not very big and not capable of fighting off your pleco.....or the angel if it takes a fancy to the babies once they start moving. Of course, if you get any free swimming in that tank by a miracle, they WILL get eaten, so take a turkey baster or siphon hose and remove them as soon as you see them if you can.

kk,
Thanks for the advice mate- Bit scared of my pleco he has teeth!
Lol, The angel fish is too talkk to fit where they are so it isnt a problem what do the eggs look like because the other day when i was trying to find my pleco i touched a goey substance on some of the artaficial plants however that could of been snail eggs.
