What are the closest well known LFS near me? I live at Middle hay view, Sheffield. I've got 2 or three P@H's but I only get aquarium equipment(filters, heaters, etc, etc) not livestock. I also have Middletons in town and Blue Ocean Aquatics in Attercliffe. Are there any maidenhead aquatics near me or anything else? My LFS friend, I spend most of my time talking to the guy who works there because they aren't very busy, mentioned wharf aquatics or pier aquatics but I searched and can only find 1 of each and they are too far out. I'm actually looking mainly for somewhere that sells show quality betta's, because I'd really like a black or dark coloured male feathertail to breed with my female, Ebony. Yes I have researched plus I think I have an idea on how to breed them because I currently breed paradise fish.
Any one who can help, please do!

you might find it difficult getting ones like that from lfs as most lfs will just do common ones,
Ebay there is someone selling alot of fantastic bettas all different tails colours etc but arent cheap though. you could also put an ad on here see if anyone has one that would suit you for sale,

Wharf aquatics is excellent mate, bit of a trek from Sheffield, but only an hour away. Definitely worth it. There is also a MA at worksop.

Thank you! Like I said I spend a lot of time chatting to one of the workers at my LFS and he said last time he went to wharf aquatics they had a breeding pair of feathertails for sale at £20 for the pair. I spent about 2-3 hours just talking to him last Friday. I really would like a nicely coloured betta to breed with my baby girl, her name is Ebony. Here is a photo of her.

Any advice on a nice colour match for her?

Wow she's a cracker. No wonder you want the right partner for her! Wharf is very good, but not really paid much attention to the fighters. Maybe worth a ring to find out before you travel to save a wasted journey if they haven't got what you want.

Will do, thank you for that. Yeah she's my baby girl, don't want the wrong partner for her. Even for a commonly coloured one she's nice looking with the blue stripes of her tail, she also has about 3 thin black stripes on her dorsal fin if you look carefully.

Edit - Quick search got me some nice results. I like this one, can't find any feather tails because I can't spend too long searching right now. Here's my best result so far.
