when you have guppy fry whats the mix of females to males, is it 50% - 50% or does there have more males to females etc
just wondering cheers

 The question is if you plan to breed guppy. the ideal ratio is 3-5 females per 1 males.

i dont mean that at all i mean when you have fry what do the fry turn into males or females is there a higher percentage of one over another thats all

it has to do with the ph of the water i cant remember which way is what but it definitly has to do with the ph :D

What?

Right now my molly fry are all, well, its. You mean I could alter later sex differentiation by fooling around with the PH? Sounds like Frankenstein stuff...

come on guys does anyone really know the answer i dont think ph levels would afect the sex of fry would it, it just seems whenever you go to a lfs they seem to have so many more males to females and wondered if this is the case that there arent many females in one fry drop
cheers in advance guys

PH DOES NOT CHANGE THE SEX OF FISH!

If you have fry, it is very hard to tell

For some reason, people always tend to have more females than male in a batch of fry
