how water sensative are they to amonia and stuf? also are they a totaly peacful fish?

cories are extremal peaceful and fun to watch also they should be in groups of at least 3. and i think they need some maturity im not sure when i had mine they were the first fish to go in along with the danios and they are all happy!

They're extremely peaceful little fish, I have a group of 12 who gaggle about together on the bottom of my 12 gallon ( along with a single dwarf gourami ) . I would suggest a more mature tank (who's filter has been cycled about 4-6 months ) rather than a freshly cycled one though just to be on the safe side. I would also suggest getting at least 8 of them ( more if your capacity can allow ) as they really look and behave much better in a bigger group

I have a shoal of ten in a 22 UK gallon tank with 2 Bristlenose, 4 Adolfoi, 4 Platy and 4 Molly.

They only grow to about one inch long and they are really fun to watch.

pygmy and dwarf corys are far more sensitive than the more readily available bronzes and sterbais - they're not as often bred locally either which will mean they're that bit more delicate. i've had no luck keeping habrosus corys, not been able to keep one (bought in groups and they've dropped for no reason one after the other) longer than 6 months (in a tank that's over 3 years old and very matured and healthy).

very delicate fish and need to be bought and cared for carefully.
