Purchasing Fish Stuff On Ebay!

Anyone else buy off ebay before (fish wise?) I had a spur of the moment (I get lots of these...darn it) purchase this morning. I bought some java moss for 4.99 and some Windelov Java Fern for less than $4. Free shipping on both. Excited about both as I've been wanting java moss for a while now and need it now since I have livebearers again. And have been admiring the cool look of the Windelov fern.

Hoping the Windelov is easy maintenance. I'm guessing if its anything like the regular java fern I should be okay. Been tempted to buy fish too, but not in a situation I can right now. Also afraid I'll get fish that will die before arrival. So I should be getting some new plants in a week. Hopefully they don't arrive while I'm out of town. Neglected to think about my week long cruise this month.

I sell and buy fish stuff on ebay. IMO it really depends on sellers when shipping fish. You can have good and bad sellers anywhere not just on ebay.

I brought half my stuff on ebay, my moss balls and java moss came from there and it's good. I brought a sword plant from there, it turned up brown and died within 24hrs lit

I looked on local advertisements and there is someone in Georgia selling a 90 gallon tank for about $150 and the tank and stuff is less than 2 years old!

I've discovered if you have a koi pond you should look on ebay for fish! Koi are pretty inexpensive.

I bought some Java Fern, and it came in good condition.

I also buy all my conditioners and treatments etc.

I frequently use Ebay for food/water condtioner/equipment/Indian almon leaf/etc.

Got two of my tanks from there as well.

I think it works the same as peat moss and lowers your PH.. I THINK...... Personally, I got some Fluval Peat Moss Granules and they are good ( but expensive )

ebay is good for API test kits. Very cheap on there. I just bought 20g of artemia eggs for £2 lol. Always browse for aquariums. I did look on there for plants originally but i think you have to be able to trust the seller to get decent quality plants

I want to see my catfish at night and I heard you could use the moonlight led's at night instead of just darkening the tank

oh, i bought a strip of blue LEDs off ebay for moonlighting for £1.30 aswell lol. It took 3 weeks to get them though because they were shipped from hong kong
