hello i have a firemouth and oscar in 55 gallon tank i want to put one south american puffer in there will it work or will they fight all day long and somebody end up dead the oscar i would say is 4 inchs the firemouth 2 and the pleco well 3 inchs will go with that so basically all i wanna knw is will the puffer and these guys be ok together :hyper:

and i have no clue how to find my answers lol so im wondering if there just pop up as u got mail answer like yahoo or what

Depending on the type of puffer most need barkish water so no way it would work. Puffers do not mix well with other fish.

The south american puffer can be kept in community tanks, and is freshwater. However i think in this case the cichlids will simply be too boistrous for it.

hmm tank in my oppinion will be to small for all those when they mature, a 55 would be a bare minimum for a oscar along but would need to be empty of stuff, highly reccomend a 75+......

SAP's are freshwater....but do better in a species tank....and would most probably....IMO...end up as fish food! Also they can need dentistry skills if not fed the right foods.....do more research and I think you'll find it's not a good combination.
