are they dwarf puffers?i have 2 dwarf puffers and although there small went they get oldder there agressive wee punks, only kept in a species tank myslef, possibly kuhli loaches, wot size of tank you got?

2 spotted,

tank is a 3 foot just them two in there. yeah i have heard they nip thats why i wasn't sure about a sucker but i wanted something to help keep it clean

filter is a fluval 3 plus

they have been in their tank about a month

When you say 2 spotted does that mean that you have two fish that are green spotted puffers or your fish are called two spot puffers? If it is the last one it can be a variety of puffers with different needs can you post pics? If they are the green spotted puffers they are actually brackish fish that need a bit of salt in their water as they grow older.

Just to add to Wills point about them if they are green spotted puffers and salt. I found from my experience that if you don't supplement them with salt in their tank (making it slightly brackish) you'll run the risk of loosing the fish. I lost mine and i didnt know about them being brackish at the time. LFS just sold me it and said not a community fish :(
