Protozoan Infection?

If this is a protozoan infection, just wondering what meds you guys would recommend?

If you could describe what his sore/skin looks like I might be able to help, or provide a better pic please.

Hard to explain really, it's like a white growth that's slightly see-through with a little red and black inside but isn't fluffy like a fungus.
Going off the picture i posted up top my LFS suggested it was a protozoan infection and a good parasite treatment would help.

Here's another picture but still not great, sand colour doesn't help lol.

Looks like a nasty case of fin rot. Likely bacterial. Hard to tell for sure from the pictures.

Your LFS probably thinks it is costia. This is not a common illness and is protozoan in nature. The treatment would be completely different form bacterial fin rot.

Thanks for the reply, i've got some waterlife myxazin will that do the job?
I'll have a read up on them links too
