at one time vancouver had more neon per capita than any other city in north america. hard to believe, harder to believe most of it is gone forever. there are still signs around of course, you just have to be brave enough to take a trip to the "bad" side of town here are some pics from last summer, i know there is more still to document. pics were taken with my hong kong medium format "holga" cheapy camera, light leaks and all. photoshop tweaking was mostly just saturation.

No wonder why i can see "black" corners in ur pictures!

Are you planning to upgrade ur medium format? Cause your films r 120mm anyway, plus to develop and to print, so why not get a better camera so that the pictures will be better?

you know, i like that quality in the holga i have a few odd ball cameras in my collection (lomo lca, pop 9, smena 8m) and sometimes the "mistakes" make the pic more indearing to me. one day when i have more money i'll take the next step and upgrade but for now it's just fun to snap pics. i've got a lot of learning to do anyways when it comes to taking great photos.
