Priming External Filter

The filter holds approximately 20 litres of water so it may take a while before it fills properly.

Especially if you only three quarter filled to to start with; I fill mine to half way up the top tray before I put the top on and start priming.

Whereas I fill mine to the brim and put the top on squirting water everywhere.....the wife loves me for it

I've discovered filters ate a nightmare, when I first got mine it took ages and I had to pump the primer like mad to get it to finally work. I was seconds away from smashing the thing to bits

I've had my filter in and out for a few weeks doing treatments and adding/removing carbon, when I restart it, it spits loads of the cotton wool type stuff out into the tank
