Do the maths, 10-15 quid for a 500ml bottle of tapsafe, LESS gets you the same amount of prime.

20 times the strength is simple enough, one bottle of prime saves you 280odd quid. Worth a bit of ebay pain.

You local fish stores only sell Aqua safe because theres more ££$$££ in for them by shifting more bottles.
I have just moved off aqua safe and onto API stress coat untill i get a bottle of prime.

 

[Prime Ordeal]

The old version of Tetra Aqua Safe didn't detoxify the ammonia released from the chloramine unless you overdosed it. The 'new' bottle mentions that it 'eliminates' chloramines but doesn't specifically say it deals with the ammonia so I'm still a little suspicious that it doesn't (Prime does).
