As soon as you see her belly develop distinct 'corners', especially at the front. Once they've squared off, they usually give birth within 24/48 hours.

Are you sure you want to separate her? Do you have enough room to (properly) look after the fry and give them enough space to grow?

Only asking as it's very easy to save more fry than you can look after or rehome!

yeah i have a tank down stairs for the little ones . my other platy gave birth few months ago .
