Praying Mantis

well I found 2 more mantis another male and a female . All three are from a eggcase that we hatched in early spring. My dad found the girl today on our deck munching on a bee, then a few hours ago she ate 4-5 crickets and 2 meal worms(ran out of crickets). They will even take food right out of your hands .

This is the female you can see her pupli spots.. Which are a illusion, but make her look cute .

The best way to get a praying mantis is to order a eggcase online, but a eggcase contains between 150-400 preying mantis .

Fantastic. I showed my husband ("Dan, come look at this") and he loved them too.

Unfortunately, I have only ever seen one wild one, and it was dead and stuck in our windscreen wiper down in the South of France and I went all girly and made my friend get it out for me, ick.
