I have a Penguin 660 powerhead with a broken core and a couple of other missing parts, and I need one for my cory tank. Should I bother buying replacement parts for this one or is there a better way to go? I've seen the ones that attach with a magnet but don't know anything else about them.

Replacement parts can add up, personally I would either go for one of the propelling pumps or a maxi-jet. These not only have the benefit of better flow, but also consume less power for a lot of them.
