We bought some air drying clay for the kids to have a go at making things and I joined in. Apart from thumb pots at school (looooooooong time ago) I have never done anything like this before. I was quite please with myself :)

Those are the hardest parts, for sure!

One tip I picked up on the net a few years ago is, if you make eyeballs first and let them dry, you can push them into the head and mould the eyelids round them, it's much easier

And, if they go wrong, it makes less of a mess of the face when you redo them!

ooooh thanks for that tip, I'll have a go next time :) as for painting ooh eer I dont know about that lol. I cant with the first little dog, my neighbour thinks it looks like her little dog and has taken it home with her lol

They are fantastic!

Ooh I want to get me some air drying clay and have a crack :D
