saw a few in my LFS today about 3 inch and was tempted but I do not have the space!!! I'm growing on my 2 Uaru for my bigger tank but the sev looks an attrative alternative. decisions decisions!!!

I do to especially after seeing a 12 inch plus beauty in a LFS recently. the big red eyes are lovely. Mine are about 4 and 3 inches now but will be fish food if they go in big tank now

stunning although I can't decide whether I preer Vinny or the Rotkeil, I would have thought Rotkeil but Vinny is a looker!!!

thankyou . they are easily my favourite fish ive got. they make a pretty funny double act vinny follows the rotkeil around copying everything he does lol
to be fair the rotties is a nice fish but vinny is the better quality specemin out of the 2 . plus vinny has a special place in my affections as the rottie was that big when i got him and vinny i havee grown out from a little tiddler

Sevs looking good mate. I was gutted when I lost my big guy and im not really much of a sev fan. I've been seing them about here for about £5-6 as well and not even in that dodgy conditon they come in. So what are they really? I hear hybrid or hormone treated but never found out any proper info. I still have my little one eyed female, shes a fiesty little bugger too.

as far as im aware theres nothing hybridised about them. just a different colour morph as far as i know .
