Post Your Fish Tank Photos

Wow mark that is really cool! I liked your second and last pictures the best :good: Is that real or fake wood? I actually wanted something like that but its really really expensive (where I live). A piece of wood like that is around 40 euros or more

thanks . in the 2nd pic those roots are fake . in the last pic it is real wood , which i got really cheap on ebay :good:

Poor quality as they're on my old camera phone.

Anyways, here's my temp Tang Tank, just growing out before the 6ft'er is delivered, then it'll be all Frontosa and maybe some Julies.

Then there's my tank which is now in the cellar, which is currently holding stock to be distributed around the tanks in the house and some which have been sold. Threw it together in about 10 minutes and it looks a lot better in reality.

Then a young multie, just for good measure :)

Didz i love your tank , And gotta say it looks alot better then it used to :)
Thanks :) All the tanks on here look really nice and thanks Lawrence it has really helped this topic what to do with my next new setup & your tank is really nice and just add some more colour plants. chigwellhammer, did you pickup your new tank yet i bet you got some more ideas now on how to setup now :D I will give you a tip its best to mix in a white and blue light tube and it really brings out the colours in all the fish. Including my blue socolofi that seriously looks like a marine fish with.Nelly is that the dwarf puffer tank where you kept your blockhead cichlid?Does it have a lid because likely to jump out easily :p
Yes that was were he was growing up,no i have a lid,i was just feeding and setting up..he wasnt in there then

:D pretty... me want lol

but im getting one sooon so i wont have to scheme to steal yours :p

Always learning,

Are those African Cichlids? And what type are those yellow/black striped ones? Those aren't bumblebees are they? They look different than mine does.

Karigupi,

Your tank is gorgeous. That's what I'm aiming the 37 gallon tank to look like! But it's currently ugly with the fake plants the color of skittles.

Here is the 37 gallon now with the cichlids

Photo spam. But those are my 6 up close. Mutts with small tails unfortunately, but I'm not spending money on any with longer tails. My betta will just bite them off I think. D:

tbh not a clue my lfs stocks them and i like the flowing tails  yours are really pretty to :)

slowly setting up a breeding tank for guppies but thats a long project

There is also 5 rummynose tetra and 2 bristlenose in there :)

I love BN's. I have a baby in my 5.5 gallon. He/she will be living in a 37 with the pictured guppies.

Two of my males have short tails like females. The other is a lyretail and the other has a slightly longer tail. The lyretail has already had his tail nipped once so I'm thinking its a good thing I don't have too flowy of fins on mine. I've only had one with a tail like yours and he didn't live long. I've had bad luck in the past with guppies. Hoping this time around its better.

i must admit my bn's are my favourite :p there both still babies to :)

im having to be very carefull about stocking so i dont get any fin nippers! i would love a couple of lyretail guppies but 5 is enough in there getting some neons/cardinals and 3 cockatoo cichlids to finish it off :)

Which picture? First one, then yeah, they are. Tanganyikans.. Frontosa, Leleupi, Brichardi, Thropheus Dubosi and a single Juli Transcriptus. None are yellow and black though :)

WOOOOOOOOOOOOW!!! I really like all the tanks. It really helped me in deciding how I want my tank. I will take out the wood and put some slate in my tank instead with a heavily planted corner.

Here's my female betta sorority tank, there are 5 females and 4 amano shrimp in there. This picture isn't a recent one though, I now have java moss on a rock and a couple more plants.

Always learning,

I think I am seeing your frontosa. XD They're just smaller than the images I saw on google and don't have a blocky head yet. In the photo they almost looked black and yellow striped.

Has anyone had any or seen those red frontosa's, all their fins are red but they still frontosa's with the body shape and stripes. I saw them them around 1.5" and were £15 each at my lfs. Are these rare to find? I was going to get the original frontosa's but then someone told me they wouldn't do well with my mbuna, whats their minimum tank size needed for a pair of frontosa by them selves, only the pair in the tank?
