Hi there. I have a problem with my fish and I would like your help please  I had a fish that died and I am worried about the others right now.
My tank has been running for almost 1 year and I do 10 gallon and sometimes 15 gallon water change every week that gets treated this Prime and half of it is RO water because my hardness and PH here is very high and my tank has 0 ammonia, 0 nitrite and 0 nitrates, temp 75 and kh and GH moderate, have a 55 gal with 2 HoB filters Aquaclear 50 on each side of the tank and I actually ordered 2 Aquaclear 70 that will come in a few days , the air stone is in the middle of the tank and it’s a planted tank with about 9 plants right now, heater, gravel, UV Sterilizer and 5 goldfish, 4 tetras and 1 huge fat molly that thinks she is a goldfish). All the other fish are fine besides a black moor that has a bit of fungus on his tail that keeps disappearing and reappearing every few days now always in the same spot and an orange oranda that I bought couple months ago he seem to have the color fading away and leaving only a few spots of his old color on his skin. For some reason I always knew there was something wrong with the aquarium in the past months but couldn’t put my finger on it. Sometimes I do see the white stringy poopy thing.

The fancy goldfish that just died I had him for 3 months and couple weeks after I bought him the area around his head turned dark brown and he also started to have swim bladder around that time. A few days ago he lost lots of weight and sat on the bottom and up top a lot and didn't eat as much and sometimes he sat on his head and had frayed fins but no hole in the head ...just that his face was so skinny and his underbelly looked hollow. Like something was sucking all the fat/fluids out of him. At one point I was thinking it was Tuberculosis but the fish didn’t have any of the curved spine or skeletal deformities that come with TB. He started to feel bad 3 days before he died and for 2 days he was still eating here and there and only the last day he was really bad.
I am guessing is internal parasites and I am thinking of a few meds: I called Seachem and they recommended Seachem metronidazole, Focus and Garlic Guard to mix in the food. I was also thinking Jungle Parasite clear or maybe Hikari Prazipro or Hexamita by eSHa. I was leaning towards Hexamita because of the things they said it does which is I quote:
“Hexamita can be used to successfully combat a wide range of parasites that are responsible a wide range of diseases and conditions. Diseases that affect Discus are usually the same as those that affect other tropical fish.
Most commonly are Gill Flukes, Intestinal disorders and Sliminess of the skin. Hexamita successfully treat these disorders as well as most other common fish diseases including fungus, finrot and dropsy. Hexamita is a complete treatment for most diseases your discus and other cichlids will encounter.”
I would like to know what meds should I give my fish and for how long do you treat them? I have a planted tank and I need something that doesn't kill my plants or beneficial bacteria. Thank you.

Nobody can answer? :(

Metro in water needs much higher temp than 75 to be effective. If the fish are eating, then feeding it is the best way. odds are fair it wont work for you. If you want to try it then you need to make your own medicated food, You should feed it twice a day for at least a week or two and feed no other foods.

Yu would be better off treating with Flubendazole. You can find good info on this here http://www.inkmkr.com/Fish/FlubendazoleTreatment.pdf and the author also sells thiis med and also Levamisole HCL also an evvective parasite med. Go here and scroll down (its where the pdf link above comes from). http://www.inkmkr.com/Fish/

I have made the assumption you are in the USA since you do not indicate what country you are in and in the UK many of the meds you mention are not available.
