Only force feed him, but never done it so can't advise any further.

What's the name of the anti fungal med you are using?

API Anti fungus and finrot.

The tufts have gone and I can't see the threads anymore but the tank is badly lit. He's still looking awful and not interested in food.

My other half is really torn up as Pip was his special boy. He's had a great life here in a huge tank but we're wondering if being kept in an 8 litre tank with another goldfish for a year (previous owner) has finally taken it's toll.

Poor little man. I hope he liked his time with us. His tank-mate is still going strong and has grown loads.
