Poorly Betta

Ok.
Good Luck.

well it ate a few frozen blood worms today :good: did try and eat a betta pellet but spat it out again

Honestly, I really would try avoiding any sort of bloodworm for a while. Yes, I know they love it, but if it is the cause of the problem then it will only make things worse.
If bloodworm is not the cause of the problem then you have not caused any damage by refraining from giving it. But if bloodworm is the problem, then you could save your Betta's life by avoiding it for a while, and cutting it right down in the long term.

Try frozen brine shrimp instead. Our (very, very fussy) Betta will eat those fairly readily.

ok mate i dont have brine shrimp but i have damphias or sumthing along those lines

and i was told the freeze dried blood worms are bad and these are much better end of the dayim just happy to see him eat something

even more good news today
there seems to be a few less white spots
and havent seen him stay still yet very very active i tryed 2-3 more frozen blood-worms again today (ones i didnt use yday) and he ate them pretty quickly :good:
would it be a good idea to get some melafix?

Daphnia good as it helps the fish digest it's food.

is the fish darting around the tank.
How big are the white spots.
Any signs of flicking and rubbing.

ye darting is about right mate
they are small like slat/suger (look more like it now aswell not bubbles)
no not much to rub into apart from the filter and heater
he does seem to be swimming into the flow of the filter again even though i have reduced flow
so i have put him in a breeding trap now to stop himself damaging him self
and ive put the filter on full flow as i was getting high levels of nitrite (but the water changes are good?)

also the fins are still "clamped"

Darting not good it means there something wrong.

Causes of darting are ph shock, bad water quality, toxins, overdose of meds, parasites, bacterial, the fish is dying, stray voltage.

it sound like whitespot to me now.
If the spots are the size of a grain of salt you need to treat the tank for whitespot.

there seems to be less spots though ?
and ill release him from the breeding trap and see what happens

not darting about just swiming casualy

did have .25 nitrites though

fins still clamped :(

Need to preform water changes to get your nitrite reading down.

Here a link to pics of whitespot on a fish.
