Fish Symptoms (include full description including lesion, color, location, fish behavior):
frog seems to be very lethargic and not moving much and doesnt seem to want to go to the surface for air, first thing I did was move him out of the water (onto breeding trap lip) and kept him wet by dripping water on him thinking he needed to get some air since I hadnt seen him go for it for a while.

Moved into breeding trap to be closer to surface, frog is quite pale with no signs of injury or stress, not interested in feeding either, still slowly moving but legs seem to be almost locked in position, only moves voluntarily but very slowly when being aided to the surface

EDIT: since not going for air in the breeding trap have now moved placed him on algae magnet just under the surface so can breathe without any effort

I hope he gets better as up to now he was very spritely and enjoyed playing in the plants, only had him about a month and the other seems ok

I am so sorry - -

How long have you had him? Is he new to the tank? The reason I am asking is they are usually very poorly kept in pet stores and pickup a lot of diseases there - he could have been ill when you brought him home.

Do you have a filter in your tank? If so, it is not cycled. You should never have 0 readings for nitrate.

What was his diet? Diet is a huge concern with ADF especially considering you have him living with fish. I usually recommend having them in species only tanks - they have different care requirements than fish.

You temp seems a little high - 27*C is about 81*F... I usually recommend mid 70s*F or about 25*C

Tanks been setup for 3 months now, nitrates may be at most 10mg/l (using strips before i get the liquid and am slightly colourblind). The frog has been in the tank about a month now and it was bigger than the other by about 30%.

Tank has 2 live plants and 3 stage bio filter bio-balls, filter wool, ceramic rings.

The frogs were eating a combination of catfish pellets, live bloodworms and when they were sitting on the algae magnet during fish feeding they would eat the flakes too.

to help you with the remaining ADF - fish flakes and cat fish pellets are not acceptable food.

HBH frog and tadpole bites (if you are in the USA) or Zoomed frog bites (if you are in the UK), broken up Reptomin Sticks (too big to bite whole or buy the tiny sized pieces), Frozen bloodworms and brineshrimp (defrosted prior to feeding)

Fish flakes and catfish pellets are designed for fish - not frogs. Frogs have a completely different dietary need. (You wouldn't feed bird seed to your dog!).

Also be very wary of live food you buy at pet stores. Feeder fish and live worms are often diseased. If you like feeding live, then I suggest you set up a separate tank and grow your own.

I have been trying to find a local stockist of the zoomed but nowhere sells it apart from online, going to get some freeze dried food instead Probably tubifex as it's quite easy to get hold of

Sorry I forgot to cover freeze dried foods.... avoid at all costs. Lack all nutrients and cause constipation. Your local pet stores don't carry zoomed?

In the future I recommend researching more in depth....a poor diet is a leading contributor to frog deaths. Up there with starvation, poor water quality and mutilation from fish tank mates

Only brands available to me in Peterborough, uk are tetra, Aquarian, king British and another I can't think of. Never seen or heard of zoomed til you said about it

Will pick up some frozen food in the morning.

found after just a quick search on google, I use these for mine and they are better food for a staple than frozen.
They're also cheaper.
