Pleco? Pond?

i believe that i bought the wong size of Pleco for my tank-
it will grow very big for the tank--- and there will be no space
for him to roam around---

here's a photo of him---

now i was thinking will he be alright in a pond-
my uncle have a pond in his garden and it's a good size
the fishes in his pond are 2 kois and 5 goldfish---

is it possible for the pleco to live in the pond?

Ive just rescued a pleco the same as yours from a cold water tank. Now they have been in there for a while but that is at room temp. Im pretty sure that by winter the water will be far too cold for a tropical fish to survive. Just my take on it mate im no expert but i seriously doubt that it will survive in there

it's not a heated pond -
so it's a big no..no..

my other options are sending it back to my LFS
and wait for the one i'm after which is the queen arabesque -
or like what nick suggested selling it before it occupies the whole size of my tank--

it grows pretty quick--
it's just about 4cm when i got it from my LFS and it's
roughly 3inch now-- i guess--

so i need to find him a home ASAP--

ull have better chnace of selling it or giving it back to lfs while its small, so i would do it now mate

i wonder where i can get an arabesque pleco--
or any pleco under 6inches---

Bristlenoses are small and look cool! If you get a pair they breed like rabbits though! My tank has 3 generations of babies in it at the minute, some of the larger one are being rehomed this weekend though. If you fancy a drive north to Derbyshire you can have a couple FOC.
