queen abaresque plecs (L260) get to around 4 inches, but are a little expensive at around £25 at least. 15 gallon would also work for this one

Queen aboresque can get to 6" no good for a 10G.

Pitbull Plecs are the best bet. Quite cheap and only get to 2.5/3 inches. and top algae eaters.

I'll check into a hillstream loach. I have an Otto in my 30 gallon, he was little when we got him (5 or so months ago) now its a fairly large fish.

Sure it's an oto? I thought they only got to 1.5"? Sometimes people are sold chinese algae eaters as otos, and end up with a big and extremely unfriendly fish...
