Pleco Discs Everyone Loves Them...

I drop a spirulina disc in my tank every night for a late night feeding but I rarely stay to observe what’s eating it, as it's gone within a few hours. Tonight I found that every single fish (except for the molly) love it silver dollars, gourimis, catfish and the pleco are all getting a nibble or to out of it and good to say no fights at all are breaking out over it. Should I be concerned that some of the fish are obviously eating food that is not attended for them? The other fish are getting fed a dual daily assortment of tropical flakes and granules and shouldn't be hungry.

you shouldn't be worried, i'd only worry if they stopped eating all other foods and only wanted catfish food

Spirulina is good for all fish (it's in most flake foods). It really helps bring out their colours. I wouldn't worry about it

Twice now I've thrown in a disc for my pleco and the rosy barbs and cories ate almost all of it before the pleco got his turn
