Im thinking of getting a male betta, 3 crystal shrimp, 2 ADF and a group of neons??

sounds good except for the frogs

I've been interested in frogs myself in the past to go with my betta and turned against them because of the feeding and general care. I think they also prefer live food - something which isn't really up my street

I'd suggest cories, but I'm not sure with the area being small on the bottom. Also a word of advice, if you're looking for a particularly fancy betta, check out Betta Boys: http/bettaboys.co.uk/shop/
May seem pricey, but they have some of the most gorgeous bettas out there. Alternatively, if you liked bettas, you could have a number of females in there. Doubt you'd be able to have your neons too, but it might be an option for you to consider.

The tank will probably take a while to cycle, so you've still got time to decide stock
