I have 2 female platys and 3 males and I have one male that will not let any other fish around one of my female platys...Can any one explain this???

How big is your tank? You really should have a female to male ration of 2:1. For three males, you need a minimum of 6 females. If you add some more ladies, the territorial behavior should stop. Also, expect babies.

I have a 21 gallon...They have been living like that for about 1.5 year together and I already have had babies but my other fish eat them..Its just here lately hes will not let NO fish around her she is like gold to him....
its territorial display. add more ladies and it will stop
