Plants really not doing well

I'm based in Ireland and rural. There's no fault on the electric company as it was a red level storm.

I'll reduce lights and take on the advice you've given too. Thank you

I added Root tabs yesterday, have been reducing the light time to 8 hrs. Things look better. I cut the brown moss and put the pieces from the log into an incubation box. Hopefully it'll get light and green up.

But the tank is looking better

I kept it for my Plecos. Hopefully the new pleco will like it in the longer tank.
