To be exact, Pomacea Bridgesi.

I want to keep them in a hardwater setup with anubias and vallis. Some places say it's okay, some they it's not. Are they naturally okay with hardy plants, of do they eat them, or does it depend on the indivisual snail?

I've never gotten a straight answer. Even at applesnail.net. They all seemed to think I'm foolish...Am I?

mine do nibble but very rarely, and often they will only eat the dead leaves so theyre good i think!

I've found they'll only eat leaves if there's not enough food around for them.
So keep them well fed and they'll stay away from live plants. They will eat dead ones though

keep them weel fed and they will be ok.
i give mine cucumber and tomatoe and whatever fruit i happen to eating - every day
