Plantinum dragon ?

I was at Petco and saw they have a dragon scale betta and a Platinum dragon. What’s the difference besides price?

No idea what the difference is but a lot of dragon scale Bettas end up with scales growing over their eyes and they go blind and don't live a normal life. So try to avoid buying these types of fish.

The difference would be color. Some color variations are more expensive due to how rare they are which would explain the price difference. Platinum dragonscales are a bright white color and they would have the same thick plated scales that other dragonscales would.

As Colin mentioned, dragonscales have very poor genetics and often develop a condition known as diamond eye where the scales begin to grow over their eyes and cause them to be blind. I also would avoid buying this variation of betta.
