anyone know if there's a benefit to having good water circulation (not water surface, mind you) in a planted tank? i have a biowheel in a 20g, but i'm getting some static water in one corner of the tank, i wonder if that's a problem.

I've accidently caused still water in my plant nursery for a few days, and it didn't seem to hurt. Just throw an airstone down there.

i would throw an airstone in there, but i heard that cuts down the co2 in the tank, and i just put a co2 unit in there...
