plant ideas

I need some ideas for some very robust plants that will do well with some convict cichlids. I was thinking some background plants and then also a few mid ground plants. One more thing will some java fern do alright with the cichs. if it has been attached to a piece of dirft wood?

Java fern and Anubias species attached to wood would be my recomendation. Cichlids tend to uproot plants from the substrate.
