Plant Help

Will aquarium plants live in gravel only and prosper?
Or do i need a type of fertilizer?
Is so what types of fertilizers would you recommend?
and also if you could name some plants that typically do well in gravel it would be great.

I've had some plants do well in just gravel with no ferts added. I've found they do seem to grow a lot better in my tank with the addition of ferts though.
I keep low light easy care plants that don't need CO2 injection to thrive.
Annubias, java moss,swords,various crypts and cobomba all do really well in my tank.
I use seachem root tabs for the root feeders and seachem flourish for stem plants.
Seachem products are a little more expensive but they do last longer than other brands I previously tried.
