Plant Care?

Do I need to buy a special light for the plants I plan on putting in my tank? I have a normal light now but it just occurred to me that that may not be the best light for live plants
Also, do I have to get supplements for said plants?

It really depends on what kinds of plants you're thinking of getting. A lot of plants (vallisneria, Java fern, cryptocorynes, anubias, Amazon swords, pygmy chain sword, some mosses) will do fine with no supplements and normal lighting. Avoid anything that's red; they do need bright lighting.
