Planning On Re-Aquascaping

Hi everyone!
I am planning on re-Aquascaping my 10gal tank soon, but I would like to know the best way to go about it without stressing my fish to death! My scaping right now is so hideous I don't even want to look at my tank to say hello to my babes! Much help would be appreciated!

Depends what you plan to do, how much you think you will be disturbing the substrate. The fish can go into a bucket of tank water with an airstone/filter and heater for a couple of hours without problems.. but they shouldn't need to be removed if you are only adding plants and some decorations.

I normally use a selection of buckets all with current tank water in. I don't bother with an airstone or heater and they have always been fine for 4 hours easily. Do what you've got to do then reacclimatise them back into the tank as you would do with new fish. Usually in order of aggression (if its that kind of tank) most aggressive last.
