Planning On Begging My Mom If I Can Get Another Betta!

She might not let me, but if she does, I like these colors:

light purple
light blue
white-ish with a little bit of pink or orange
pink-ish orange-ish!

I do need some name ideas though.

get a pink/orange one... they a lovely colours in a betta and very hard to breed. Although the pink is most probably a lavender

Yeah.. once I saw a hot pink one though it was pretty. That's the only pink one I've seen though so I doubt I'll find another. I really really like blue. Bill is kind of dark purple.

Haha. I think I'll come with her on her next trip to Petsmart (we have a dog) and just HAPPEN to find a beautiful betta!

Good luck with that.. It doesn't take much convincing to get my mom to let me have another betta as long as I pay for it. So that's how we ended up with 7.. . Anyways, I wish you luck.

Get this one, but it won't be one. If you can stick with one, your a better person than i am. But once you get to 2, well, you've had it! youll end up like me and the rest of us all with over 10 bettas. And hopefully i may have around 100 bettas soon

I want another so bad though! I'm pretty sure my mom will let me because cleaning the bowl is easy and I can do it by myself and stuff.

I would have to buy some toys or something for my new fish, though. Bill loves all of his toys, so he couldn't share.

Bettas are like a drug... I am fine as long as I dont make eye contact with one in the shop...then I feel guilty if I dont take it home. That HMPK was wiggling his butt at me today...but I am being strong.

Lol, tell me about it. This pass saturday, my cousins, my younger brother, and I decided to dedicate the whole day to finding bettas. We left at 11 and got hom at 10. We ended up with 7 bettas and a few new tanks for them. It was exhausting, but Im up for it again, kinda broke now though. lol. We drove all over! Found out all the shipment days for the stores and we're going back! Lol. Woot for Bettas!

No they are not easy pets.They take the same money and care as any pets.Do you know that bettas can live a few years.They need meds if the get sick.They need there bowls cleaned the small the tank the more the bowl needs clean.Just because they are cheep doesn't mean the cost of the fish is going to equal the cost of keeping him/her for 2 or more years.Do you have the money.

betta_grl, sorry, but bettas are way easier than cats or dogs. You could ignore your betta for a week and he would still be fine. But if your cat couldn't eat for a week it'd starve...

We aren't saying just cause they're cheap they're easy...
