Water chemistry is a little puzzling, but it stands with a constant in between 1-2 ppm of ammonia, 0 nitrite and under 5 nitrate.
I squashed more than a couple bladder snails in addition that are surely contributing. But the seed shrimps are not relenting a single seconds. If I shake the filter... They swarm out in clouds... Lolll.
There's more than 3 amphipods and I saw them making babies... Oh well... so much for biofilm.
So this buckles up the 6 weeks prophetic delay for a cycled tank...
Results are a little strange but are in perfect direction toward target. Nitrate is well under 5 nitrite has been 0 for a while and there's a slight touch of ammonia... I tested only once before posting.
Plant are already going in for their stance. And two have made quite a progress. And are trowing much larger leaves. I added a good dose of concentrated catalpa leaf powder to try to fight my somewhat increasing PH ( This I cant understand, I use RO/DI at 0ppm ) and still is going upward.
Seed shrimps happiness reduced in the next days. Amphipods are still stealthily roaming in.
In a week or so. It should be ready for a 6-12 initial colony and grow up in symbioses. I might acidify a little the water to slow things down some more.
